We're delighted to invite you to a special seminar with Sensei Matt Price!

Booking is now open for the event on Sunday 9th November. We welcome members and also guests from other clubs and karate associations.

Matt Price Sensei is head coach for the JKS England national team and a 7th Dan of the Japan Karate Shoto Federation, having graded under a panel including Kagawa Shihan (Japan) and the late Norman Robinson Shihan (South Africa) in 2022.

He is a former ESKA European Champion, KUGB Grand Champion and all-styles national squad member.

As well as hosting Matt Sensei, we're holding our winter kyu grading exams. Those people from novice to 1st kyu with permission to grade are also invited to book in now! You must earn permission to grade at one of our designated pre-grading assessments.

Bookings must all be made online and are taken subject to our booking terms and conditions.

If you’re hoping to grade, you must have a JKS England licence book and have received permission to grade before booking. You must also hand in your JKS England book before the booking deadline to avoid incurring a late fee. Please read the grading-specific information in our seminar guide to make sure we can accept your booking.
