Bristol Karate Academy

Almost four hours of exceptional tuition and a whole host of kyu grade passes. Our summer seminar was a huge success and we can’t thank you enough for supporting the event!

We were honoured to be hosting English, British and Baltic States Champion, Sensei Remi Jurgilaitis at the event. Remi Sensei is a brilliant ambassador for JKS karate and he shared some of the drills, techniques, tactics and combinations that have made him the most successful fighter for the JKS England team in recent years.

Between our all-grade and advanced classes, we held a kyu grading for anyone from 12^th to 1^st kyu. We’re so proud of all 42 of you for passing in full. A really solid grading from all of you.

For some of you it was your first time grading, so well done for taking your first step on the ladder! For others it was your last grading before black belt, so congratulations to Phoebe and Taylor! We look forward to seeing you continuing to work hard in preparation for your shodan examination!

We’re already looking forward to our end of year grading on Sunday 9^th November and will soon be announcing our guest instructor for the seminar. Keep your eyes peeled and make sure you reserve your space on what’s bound to be an exceptional event!
