Dojo training comes to your living room! While we're forced to close the dojo doors you'll still be able to train on the same day and at the same time as you did before - through our real-time online classes.

Bristol Karate Academy continues to monitor Government advice on the prevention and spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

It is with great sadness that we heard today of the passing of Sensei Bob Poynton (8th Dan).

Bob Sensei was a stalwart and ambassador of the Karate Union of Great Britain, who was truly committed to the organisation. As a competitor, Sensei was a member of the KUGB and all-styles national teams and was National Individual Kumite Champion in 1976. A big well done to all karateka that took part in our first ever week-long Kangeiko, which finished on Sunday morning! Seven days of extra training – on top of our regular weekly sessions!

Due to special events taking place at Westbury-on-Trym Village Hall on Thursday 30th January and Thursday 13th February, our class will move on these days only to Redland Green School. The class will take place at the usual time of 6.15-7.15pm.
