A face-to-face ending to the term for our youngest group of Karate students
We're so proud of how our latest group of Warriors got on through their 12-week lockdown training course. Children aged 5-7 got stuck in during the height of lockdown for weeks of training through Zoom, expertly run by the lead instructor for the Warriors programme, Sensei Dan Salter.

For some of our young Warriors, their first ever introduction to Karate was through online lessons. They performed brilliantly, as did those who rejoined from the previous term, which had started pre-lockdown and finished online.

After such a prolonged period of online training it was fantastic to see 9 beaming faces smiling back at us in the last couple of weeks, as we returned to face-to-face training to finish off the spring/summer term.

Split into two groups, to keep numbers to a maximum of six (including an instructor), our Warriors were brilliant at social distancing and even better at their Karate, kicking and punching their way through the sessions.

At the end of the final class, the children were awarded certificates for a fantastic job well done.Thank you to all the children for their hard work - and also to their parents and carers who were so encouraging and supportive to their little Warriors throughout our time online!

As with our whole lesson schedule, we wait to see what happens over the next few weeks in terms of a return to indoor Karate but look forward to seeing all of you again soon. Space allowing, we may also have a few spaces available for new starters, so if you know anyone that's interested in joining us then get in touch. We'll post details as soon as we can about our upcoming return.
