Join us on Sunday 29th March for a seminar with Sensei John Bruce
After a successful online seminar last week with Sensei Matt Price we're delighted to host another guest instructor this coming Sunday morning - Sensei John Bruce!

John Sensei (5th Dan) will now be teaching an extended Sunday class, from 10-11.30am, through Zoom! Please note that while the first hour will suit all grades, the last half hour will focus on training for brown and black belts. Everyone is welcome to stay for the full time.  While this seminar is our way of saying 'thank you' to our members for making the move online, it's also open to guests from other clubs.

John Sensei is a former KUGB National Grand Champion - that means winning both kata and kumite in the same year!  He was WSKA World Junior Champion and was also a World and European Champion as part of the KUGB's kumite team.  It's been a long time since we have hosted John Sensei, who taught for us in 2012 to celebrate the opening of our Nailsea dojo.  Now we're celebrating the end of two weeks online it seems appropriate for him to join us once again. We clearly have a lot to catch up on!

Like Matt Sensei, John Sensei is a full-time instructor, so we are delighted to be able to make sure his diary stays busy while other seminars across the UK and Europe are cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

For those on a Bristol Karate Academy monthly membership, this is INCLUDED in your membership. For guests or those on pay-as-you-go, it is THE SAME PRICE as our normal classes - just £5.  Payment should be made straight to the club's bank account: 30-62-96, 70401968.

We have 100 spaces on this online course and will save a minimum of 50 for our members. Because spaces are limited, all bookings cover you for ONE device connection only and payment is per person, not per device.

Bristol Karate Academy members: Please complete this quick survey to let us know you're coming.  If you don't book on and we still have plenty of spaces on Saturday night we'll late you know through our private members-only Facebook group.

Guests/non-members: Please complete this short survey to register. Once you've done this and also transferred your training fee of £5 to the club's bank account (30-62-96, 70401968) we will email you the meeting code to join. If there is a reason that you cannot pay by bank transfer, please let us know. Only those non-members that have paid by 10pm on Saturday 28th March will be able to join. Please remember to register for Zoom beforehand! It's your responsibility to make sure that you have the technology to join.

If this is all new for you, don't worry!  Take a look at our Q&As to find out how to get set up and ready to go!
