Over the next couple of months our members are working towards three separate grading dates. Take a look at the summary below to see which is the right grading event for you.
Please only register for a grading if you have been given permission to grade on that date. If you're unsure if you have permission, log in to your Bristol Karate Academy member area to check. You'll be able to see if you have permission to grade by visiting your 'My Grading' page.
Anyone that wishes to attempt a grading must be a member of JKS England. If you haven't yet registered with JKS England you can apply for membership here.
Special seminar and grading with Alan Campbell Sensei - Sunday 31st October
Venue: Nailsea School, Mizzymead Road, Nailsea, Bristol, BS48 2HN
Time: Please check the full details here.
Who should attend?: The seminar with Alan Sensei is for all Bristol Karate Academy members. The grading is for those that are going for 9th kyu or above, including those eligible for dan (black belt) gradings. You do not have to be grading in order to join the training seminar.

12th-10th kyu grading - Wednesday 3rd November
Venue: Nailsea School, Mizzymead Road, Nailsea, Bristol, BS48 2HN
Time: 6.20-7.20pm
Who should attend?: This is our grading event for some of our younger members due to take their 12th, 11th or 10th kyu gradings. Please note that this will take place at the same time as our usual Wednesday evening class. If you are grading, please book in for the grading event and not for the training on this day.
How do I book?: If you've been given permission to grade at this event, you can register here, before Friday 22nd October.
Warriors and 12th-10th kyu grading - Friday 3rd December
Venue: Backwell W I Hall, Station Road, Backwell, Bristol, BS48 3QW
Time: 6.30-7.30pm
Who should attend?: This is our grading event for some of our youngest members due to take their 'mon' gradings or 12th, 11th or 10th kyu gradings. Please note that this will take place at the same time as our usual Friday evening class. If you are grading, please book in for the grading event and not for the training on this day.
How do I book?: If you've been given permission to grade at this event, you can register here, before Friday 19th November.
